Tanning Do's & Dont's

Exfoliate prior to your spray tan.

Wear loose dark clothes to your appointment.

Apply a body butter to dry areas. Knees, ankles, elbows and definitely hands and feet.

Moisturize before a spray tan. If your skin is dry, your tan will look patchy.

Shave after your spray tan has developed not before. Tan will run down freshly shaved legs.

Moisturize in the days following.

Pat yourself dry after showering.

Excerise, bathe or swim sooner than 12 hours after your spray tan.

Wear any jewelry or hair ties on your wrist. You'll have a white line.

Apply deodorant if possible before your spray tan. You may notice that your armpits have a green hue after tanning. Aluminum in the deodorant reacts with the solution. It's best to arrive with clean, fresh skin.

Hang out in a chlorinated pool or hot tub. You'll exfoliate your lovely tan away
